The internet has seen many a silly conspiracy theory, but this new one takes silly to new, fabulous heights -- and it involves two incredibly powerful singers, Adele and Sam Smith.

It started with a simple observation.

Hang on a second there, isn't that a tenuous link, a correlation devoid of causation?

Okay, so that is a little spooky. But does it work both ways?

Hmm, less convincing.

No, probably not.

It's still fun to play vinyls at different speeds though. At least that's something.
