Comedians Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen brag about the size of their caucuses

With a messy election season in full swing, Bud Light is hoping to mine some of the easy humor found in the more nonsensical parts of the American political process this Super Bowl. 

In its just-released commercial, the beer brand recruited Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen to campaign across the country on the dubious platform that the one thing every all Americans can agree on is an affinity for Bud Light. 

The duo make the usual campaign stops, visiting factories, rodeos, even a Lakers game where they happen to run into Paul Rudd. They keep the tone patriotic throughout with cliched folksy political rhetoric -- at one point Rogen even recites lines from the movie Independence Day. 

Talk about corporate interests in politics.

The 60-second spot -- one of the first ads created for the company by agency Wieden+Kennedy -- will also feature Bud Light's new packaging and slogan, "Raise one to Right Now," for the first time. 

The flashy advertising reboot, which hits shelves in April, comes amid a year of slumping sales for the Anheuser-Busch InBev-owned brand.
