Amy Schumer reminds body shamers that she's a Greek goddess
Trolls should always remember that they really don't know who they're messing with and could very well be invoking the wrath of the gods.
Amy Schumer shared an image created by a fan on Instagram pointing out that Annie Leibovitz portrait of Schumer looks a lot like one of the most iconic portrayals of beauty of all time -- the Greek goddess Aphrodite.
As she points out, the photo resembles Crouching Aphrodite, a sculpture by Greek artist Doidalsas from the 3rd century BCE.

"The goddess of beauty is portrayed here with stomach rolls and doesn't have a perfectly smooth, toned body," the fan, Whitney, wrote on Instagram. "I want to remind everyone that they do not have to be a Victoria's Secret model to be a beautiful goddess with a beautiful body."
Schumer, who has been on a troll-crushing roll lately, originally captioned the image, "Beautiful, gross, strong, thin, fat, pretty, ugly, sexy, disgusting, flawless, woman."
But of course, nothing on the Internet can remain pure, and now Whitney is dealing with trolls of her own.
Hopefully haters will step down because Schumer needs time for her tireless work helping people understand how the hell you're supposed to get off of one of those inflatable swans.
