Amy Schumer tries to impress Lin-Manuel Miranda in 'Hamilton'-inspired sketch
We've all heard and loved Hamilton, now get ready for Betsy.
Entertainment Weekly debuted a new sketch from Amy Schumer, in which the comedian is moving away from TV and on to Broadway, hopefully with the help of Hamilton writer and star, Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Schumer tries to impress Miranda with her own hip-hopera about "historical wig and knee sock people." It features a lot of (pretty much exclusively, actually) the same melodies and beats from Hamilton.
Musician Questlove also makes an appearance to provide some beats, but he's basically in it for Hamilton tickets, as we all are.
Some of our favorite moments from Schumer's Betsy Ross include "I am not throwing away my mop," (like "I am not throwing away my shot," from Hamilton) and "if you don't sew, now you sew, Betsy," (like "if you don't know, now you know, Mr. President.")
Something tells us Lin isn't into it.
