Don't say we didn't warn you about Googling Amy Schumer

Intel named Amy Schumer the most dangerous cyber celebrity in their 10th annual list of the most dangerous celebrities to search for on the web, succeeding last year's "most wanted," DJ Armin Van Buuren. That means of all the people you could Google, Schumer's name is the one most likely to be associated with malware.

Right behind the Trainwreck star on the list are Justin Bieber, Carson Daly, Will Smith, Rihanna and Miley Cyrus. Although the actress-comedian tops off the list, other comedians follow suit with Daniel Tosh, Nikki Glaser and Kevin Hart -- to name a few.

Intel used research from their own McAfee security software to rank the danger of celebrity searches. If you search "Amy Schumer," there's a 16 percent chance the results will lead you to a site containing malware.

Cybercriminals use searches for famous people to lure for unsuspecting victims to sites that are loaded with hidden software for exploiting your computer's data. Once you get there, your passwords and personal information are immediately at risk.

Amy Schumer fans, it might be time to update your antivirus software.
