Amy Schumer is wearing a tampon to the Emmys, thank you very much
If you're a woman on the red carpet at the Emmys, someone, at some point, will ask you what you're wearing. And if you're comedian Amy Schumer, you'll answer with actual honesty.
While on an otherwise insipid red carpet at tonight's Emmy Awards, E! host Giuliana Rancic asked Schumer who she was wearing. But instead of only identifying her dress, Schumer chose to celebrate the accessory closest to her body (and heart): her tampon.
"So who are you wearing this evening?" Rancic asked.

"Vivienne Westwood, Tom Ford shoes and an OB tampon," Schumer responded.
All across Twitter, people responded with logical amounts of applause.
And very healthy skepticism:
God bless Schumer for not wearing a designer tampon or a diva cup -- but simply the tampon of the people.
No need to ask Amy Schumer "more" on the red carpet. This will do just fine.
