When a terrified biker crosses paths with an unexpected bear no one wins

This bear really enjoys sitting on bike paths.

Nothing spoils a good bike ride like a bear casually sitting in the road.

Reddit user pfffhuckit uploaded a video of himself racing down a trail on his bike when, suddenly, he sees a bear plopped down in the middle of the road, right in his way.

He does what anyone would do. He gets so surprised he falls off his bike.

What happens next unfolds quickly, and it's pretty much how you would expect. After the biker loses control, he then immediately turns around before uttering a catchphrase for the ages: “Fuck a duck.”

When asked what happened afterward, the biker said he dragged his bike backwards while keeping his eye on the bear. Then, he went around the corner and sprinted further away.

He added that the bear couldn’t have cared less about him, and that he'd never felt so glad about feeling so insignificant.

When there's a bear involved, being seen as insignificant is probably your best option.
