LONDON -- Peter Rabbit and friends are joining the ranks of Britain's finest with the release of a special new collection of stamps.

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Beatrix Potter's birth, Royal Mail introduced 10 new stamps featuring some of the author's most beloved characters, including Peter Rabbit, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, Squirrel Nutkin, Jemima Puddle-Duck, Tom Kitten and Benjamin Bunny.

The remaining four stamps bear images from Potter's most famous book, The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

From 28 July to 3 August, you can visit the post box at Hill Top Farm, Potter's home in the Lake District, where Royal Mail will provide special handstamps of Potter's first imagined sketches of Peter Rabbit.

The British author is one of the most celebrated children's authors of all time, and her imaginative collection of over 23 books as well as a recently discovered 24th story set for release in September continues to entertain and inspire across generations.

We don't know about you, but this collection definitely has our stamp of approval.
