If holiday movies are to be believed, this season is all about making huge romantic statements to let someone know how you feel about them.

In 2016, that means handwriting the full Bee Movie screenplay into a Christmas card.

Conner Fastenau, a college freshman at Baylor University, did just that for his girlfriend Nicole this Christmas, spending roughly three hours painstakingly writing out the full script of that animated movie where a human woman and a bee fall in love.

This is hands down more romantic than any scene in Love Actually and if you can't admit that you're only lying to yourself.

"It was absolutely worth it. It got her a good laugh, so it was worth it," Fastenau told Buzzfeed. Was there ever any question?
