Best Black Friday Apple deal

Why we like it

Read our full review of the M4 MacBook Air.

The 13-inch MacBook Air is down to a record-low price of $749 for Black Friday this year and this deal is sticking around post Black Friday. This is our favorite laptop for students, thanks to its M4 silicon and slim design. This markdown is so good that even if it does happen to drop lower for Cyber Monday (and we're not counting on it), you still score a great deal without waiting for shopping chaos next week.

Read our full review of the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds (Gen 2).

The Bose QC Ultra headphones and earbuds have long been some of our favorite noise-cancelling headphones. The new second-generation versions are out, and we love them even more than the original flavor. However, while the new headphones are pricey (even when they're on sale), the new Bose earbuds have been marked down to $216, which is a lot more reasonable, though not their lowest price ever. These earbuds are supremely comfortable and feature elite active noise cancellation

What's not to like about a $79.99 Kindle? Currently 27% off at Amazon, this Mashable-tested e-reader is at its all-time low price. We're big fans of Kindles, and the base Kindle is a good choice for holiday gift giving. It has ample storage and a slim, lightweight design.

Why we like it

"If you're not sure what size TV to get, we consider 65 inches to be the sweet spot for most folks. While the Hisense U6 Mini LED QLED TV falls into the budget-friendly category, its specs don't scream 'budget' at all. It features a Mini LED backlight system, which means it uses smaller LEDs to deliver a brighter and more detailed picture. Plus, it packs a 144Hz native refresh rate, WiFi 6 connectivity, support for HDR in Dolby Vision, the Fire TV OS, and on-board Alexa. Our friends at PCMag (also owned by Ziff Davis) called it 'easily the brightest and most colorful budget-friendly TV we've tested.'" — Christina Buff, Mashable Contributor

The Ninja Slushi is a blast in any season — frozen margs in any flavor you want when it's hot, apple cider slush or gingerbread frappé when it's chilly. (Mashable Senior Shopping Reporter Leah Stodart loves her Slushi, and so do all of her friends.) A year after the first Slushi came out, Ninja released two larger capacity versions in a few fun colors. The 88-ounce model on sale for $229.99 at Amazon can make a slightly bigger batch than the original 72-ounce model, which is on sale for $249.99 at Walmart. $20 more for extra beverages and a chic green build? Sold. (If you want the purple one, it's $269.99 at Target.)

SharkNinja also showed up to the Black Friday party by offering really excellent free extras. Buying the Ninja Slushi directly from Ninja for $269.99 will give you a free travel tote worth $50.

Why we like it

In our Apple Watch Series 11 review, we noted that it's largely the same as the previous-gen Series 10, but with one notable improvement: The battery life is much better. With the newest model, you're far more likely to get a full day's charge, as we did in our testing. And with watchOS 26 and Liquid Glass, the Apple Watch looks better than ever.

Best Black Friday Windows laptop deal

Why we like it

"Microsoft's current flagship laptop is a well-rounded machine with a virtually unrivaled 23-hour battery life, speedy everyday performance, amazing build quality, and an elegant, lightweight design. The 13.8-inch model with a Snapdragon X Elite CPU is my favorite Windows laptop for most people, and the silver model with my ideal daily driver setup (16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage) is down to an all-time low of $869.99 for Black Friday 2025." — Haley Henschel, Senior Shopping Reporter

Best Black Friday streaming deal

Works for new and returning subscribers

Why we like it

"Through Dec. 1, new and returning subscribers can get 12 months of HBO Max Basic with ads for only $2.99 per month. That's just $35.88 total for the year. Since the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned streaming service just raised the cost of its Basic with ads plan in October from $9.99 to $10.99 per month, this Black Friday deal ends up saving you $96 or 73% total across 12 months.

"The past two years, HBO Max offered just six months of streaming for $2.99 per month. So not only did it double the length of the discount in 2025, but with the price hike, you'll actually be saving even more." — Christina Buff, Mashable contributor

Why we like it

Some of the year's best Black Friday deals are in the power station category, where you'll find discounts of 56% or more. And for so many reasons, this Anker Solix power station is our top pick for holiday shoppers. In our review, Mashable contributor Lauren Allain wrote that the "Anker Solix C1000 portable power station nails performance, design, and versatility," awarding it a Mashable Choice Award. And now that it's at a record-low price at Amazon, it's never been easier to recommend.

More Black Friday deals from Amazon

It's no surprise that some of the best Black Friday deals of 2025 that are still around come from Amazon, which officially kicked off its sale on Nov. 20. The Everything store is hosting record sales on Amazon devices like Kindles and Fire TVs, but also some of our favorite products from brands like DJI, Ninja, Yeti, and Samsung. Amazon is also a great place to stock up on Christmas gifts, stocking stuffers, and deals under $25.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every retailer is different, but most will have sales running throughout the Thanksgiving weekend and into Cyber Monday. While Amazon's Black Friday sale technically ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on Friday, Nov. 28, the retailer will immediately start its Cyber Week sale at that time. Still, don't assume all the top deals will last through the weekend.

This year, Black Friday falls on Nov. 28, and as per usual, it starts promptly at midnight on Thanksgiving. However, in the past few years, the biggest big box retailers have started launching their sales weeks in advance of the holiday weekend. In fact, some retailers no longer offer in-store shopping at midnight at all. So, while some doorbusters will only be available on Nov. 28, you can shop most of the deals early.

Cyber Monday takes place on Monday, Dec. 1 in 2025.

This year, the official Amazon Black Friday sale started on Nov. 20 and runs through Cyber Monday on Dec. 1. However, Amazon will almost certainly save some deals for Black Friday itself. Typically, Amazon puts new deals live at midnight on the West Coast, so if you are shopping on Black Friday, expect Amazon's sale to start at 12:01 PST on Friday, Nov. 28. However, the Everything Store will certainly drop plenty of early deals before then.

For 2025, Walmart has promised to bring back "its biggest lineup of deals — including thousands of gifts under $20 and up to 60% off top-brands." Here's the official schedule for the retailer's Black Friday-Cyber Monday sale:

  • Walmart Black Friday Deals, Event 1: Nov. 14 to 16

  • Walmart Black Friday Deals, Event 2: Nov. 25-30

  • Walmart Cyber Monday Deals: Dec. 1

Target kicked off holiday shopping extra early this year, with "special deals dropping daily Nov. 1 through Dec. 24. Each week until Christmas, Target will be launching a new round of deals every Sunday.

If Target launched its Black Friday sale extra early, then Best Buy started its sale extra-extra early. Or, as Best Buy said in a press release, it put the creep in "holiday creep" by launching its sale on Halloween. Here's the full schedule of Best Buy's Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and holiday sales:

  • Door BOOster sales: Oct. 31

  • New Best Buy doorbusters every Friday: Starts Oct. 31

  • Early Black Friday deals: Oct. 31 to Nov. 19

  • Black Friday Sale: Nov. 20 to 29

  • Cyber Sunday & Monday: Nov. 30 to Dec. 1

  • Last-Minute Savings: Dec. 15 to 24

Unfortunately, price matching isn't as common as it used to be. In recent years, Target has been the only major retailer to offer price matching, though even the Bullseye brand has changed things up for Black Friday 2025. (Womp, womp.) This year, Target is offering a Holiday Price Match Guarantee, but only for its own prices. So, if you buy something at Target and the price goes down later in the holiday season, you can contact Target to get the lower price.
