The Prime Big Deal Days sale, Amazon’s mid-October follow-up to summer Prime Day, is also about less exciting yet vital household supplies, to go with all the fancy gadgets and smart TV bargains.

Alongside snapping up the best new deals on Apple products, it’s also the perfect excuse to load up on the practical stuff: paper towels, cleaning wipes, laundry tabs, and batteries that disappear faster than your weekend.

If you’d rather skip the frenzy of last-minute restocks later this fall, these discounts make it easy to bulk up your supply closet for less.

We’ve scoured beyond the typical range of the best deals of Amazon's October Prime Day. Browse the perfect set of offers for everyday essentials, from kitchen workhorses to baby-care must-haves.

We’ll update this list all the way through to the end of Prime Day on Oct. 8, so keep this page bookmarked for more unmatched deals to keep your cupboards full.

Best household essentials deal

Why we like it

If you’re ever going to buy toilet paper in bulk with a top-tier household essentials brand, this is the time to do it. This Georgia-Pacific Angel Soft Professional Series case includes 80 individually wrapped rolls, each with 450 two-ply sheets, and it’s currently marked down to around $71.93 (was $84.95); that’s about 15% off the typical price.

That works out to roughly 20 cents per 100 sheets, which is excellent for a premium-grade paper that’s soft, strong, and septic-safe. Made from sustainably sourced trees and packaged neatly for long-term storage, this is the kind of “unexciting” deal that actually pays off every single day.
