The terribly unpleasant panic of trying to buy the black Kylie lip kit
Dreams do come true. The black Kylie Lip Kit finally dropped Friday after about three weeks of total agony. For the olds, that means that the celebriteen's greatest achievement was briefly available to purchase before it sold out.
This is a big deal -- when Kylie asked fans for Lip Kit requests, the response clearly indicated that the goth millennial world takeover is imminent and I knew I had to be a part of it or perish.
I immediately set a reminder on my phone and affixed the most neon Post-It available to me to my desk to make sure I did everything within my power to make sure I didn't miss out on the single most important cosmetic product of my time.

Finally, the hour arrived and slightly after the clock struck 4:30 EST, I managed to add the Holy Grail of celebrity cosmetics to my cart. IT ALL CAME TRUE!
Well, not exactly...
I was in purgatory. To improve my odds, a co-worker added Dead of Knight to her cart as well should the gods smile upon her.
But finally, my moment came -- buying a Kylie Lip kit is possible with the right amount of dedication and luck.
Not everyone was so lucky, though, and it weighs heavily on my soul.
