A concerned father decided to take matters into his own hands when he saw that his son had been single for a decade. He posted a job advertisement hiring a woman that would help manage the family business -- as well as marry his son.

Chen Jinrong, 67, from Zhejiang, China, runs a rubber factory which his son Chen Diyang, 38, helps out at. The senior Chen was worried that his son had been single since his divorce from his wife 10 years ago, and decided it's high time he moved on and remarried.

The advertisement appeared on a bulletin board at a Taizhou job fair and reads: "Female boss needed for rubber factory. Must be 38 years of age or under. Junior high school graduate or above. Can be divorced or have children. Hard-working, possess computer and management skills."

According to local reports, Chen wanted a daughter-in-law that complemented his son whom he described as a capable manager but lacking in education, and computer and social skills.

Chen also cited his son's failure in taking initiative for his having to resort to such measures to secure the latter a life partner.

Since the advertisement went up on Mar. 8, Chen has received several applications for the double-duty role.

Despite Chen's best efforts, it seems his son was not as keen to the idea of advertising for a wife. "I know my father is doing this for my own good, but marriage is more about finding the person I like," he told Chinese reporters.
