Sure, Star Wars is a big deal and everything, but let's not forget it's got some serious competition in its opening week.
We're talking, of course, about the Cats movie — and while many critics were out sampling The Rise of Skywalker on Monday, others were settling in for the highly weird and whiskery delights of Tom Hooper's feline musical adaptation at the New York premiere.
The verdict? A fairly mixed bag.
