Chance the Weatherman reports for duty

The rapper tried his hand at reporting this morning.

Chance the Rapper and his signature 3 hat took over the news in Illinois on this very cold morning.

In an unexpected reprisal of his television reporter character from Saturday Night Live, the Chicago native hopped in front of a green screen on Friday and delivered the day's weather like a pro.

He ran through the current temperatures of the area on WGN Morning News, noting that there were a lot "19" degrees littered across the area. At one point, Chance whipped out a coat and hilariously took advantage of the green screen.

"I've got an invisibility coat if I have to check out books at the Hogwarts library," he joked, before jumping right back into the weather. By the looks of people's comments, the meteorologist at the station may have some competition on his hands.

If rapping doesn't work out for him in the long run, it's good to know Chance has got yet another gig he can fall back on.
