When firefighters from Guizhou, China, were called onto the scene to rescue a woman from a dangerous situation, the last thing they probably expected to find was the victim dancing on a power cable line.

On Thursday night, a large crowd gathered on a busy street in the downtown region of Pan county, when people spotted the unnamed woman walking and balancing precariously on electrical cables hanging above the street.

Despite the firefighters' best efforts, the woman refused to get off the line, reported CCTV News.

In a last ditch attempt, the firefighter resorted to pushing the woman off the cable lines on to the air cushion below. Thankfully, the woman escaped unharmed.

The woman was said to be suffering from a mental illness.
