Heroic neighbors catch toddler who fell from 5th floor balcony in China

Luckily, the boy's neighbors were there to catch him, after police called and alerted them to the situation.

A toddler nearly fell to his death in the Chinese city of Dongguan on Tuesday when he climbed over the railing of a fifth-floor balcony during a game of hide-and-seek.

Luckily, neighbors caught the toddler in a quilt, which they set up after police called and alerted them to the situation, according to the South China Morning Post.

"It took me a long time to calm down and I was not able to sleep last night," the boy's mother says in the CCTV video above, hugging her son tightly.

Stop scaring us, kids.
