According to John Krasinski's Twitter feed, filming has already wrapped for A Quiet Place 2 — but maybe there's still time to squeeze in one extra cameo.

On Sunday, Krasinski — who is the writer/director of one of the best monster movies of the decade and its upcoming sequel — celebrated his 40th birthday.

And he wasn't shy about asking people for presents.

The Venmo Krasinski set up is raising money for a charity called Family Reach, which describes itself as "a financial lifeline for families fighting cancer."

After he'd posted the video, Krasinski wasted no time in hitting up his famous friends on Twitter to encourage them to donate. Everyone from The Rock to Captain America got involved.

But when it came to Chris Pratt, Krasinski used a different tactic: a sneaky post-production cameo.

It sounded like an offer that couldn't be refused — and indeed, Krasinski's tweet didn't go unanswered.

OK, so while there's every chance the cameo could just be a joke that doesn't end up happening, you never know — sneaking Pratt in as an extra at some point surely wouldn't be out of the question.

We'll just have to keep a close eye out for his cheerful face in a messed up, monster-filled world when the film drops in March 2020.
