Chrissy Teigen uses Twitter to get John Legend to pick up the phone

It's fine. No, really.

It's excruciating, waiting for someone to answer a message. Maybe it says "delivered" but not "seen". Maybe you can even see those three dots bouncing up and down, mocking you with their refusal to reveal the text they claim to represent.

Turns out the rich and famous suffer from this same frustration. But if you're Chrissy Teigen, there's more than one way of reaching out to your singer-songwriter husband John Legend.

You can send this.

This may seem pretty high-maintenance, but to be totally fair to Teigen she had reason to be stressed, as there had just been an earthquake of magnitude 3.6.

If nothing else the fact that Teigen kept enough presence of mind to make an astrology-based joke is heartening, and Twitter responded in kind.

Much as Teigen remained self-possessed and comic, though, she was clearly a bit rattled.

As is your right Chrissy, as is your right.

No Twitter reply from Legend as yet, but to be fair he's probably busy calling Chrissy Teigen.
