All of the heartbreak of 2016 in one touching Christmas tree

"So many stars taken this year, I've turned them into angels for my tree."

We can all agree that 2016 was in many ways a devastating year.

From David Bowie to Andrew Sachs, this ill-fated year had more than its fair share of beloved music, entertainment, TV, and cinema stars who died too soon.

To pay tribute to the legends we lost, Twitter user @L3GSV had the idea of turning them into angel decorations and hanging them on her Christmas tree.

Prince, Leonard Cohen, Terry Wogan, Muhammad Ali, Florence Henderson, Gene Wilder, Alan Rickman are among those who get a special place in the tree.

There's even space for the Toblerone and the EU.

See if you can spot them all before you sob into your pillow.
