On Tuesday night, Coldplay took a moment during their concert to pay respects for Chester Bennington, the lead singer of Linkin Park who was found dead last month.

Chris Martin turned one of Linkin Park's songs off their debut album Hybrid Theory ("Crawling") into a ballad on the piano, and footage was shared online by Linkin Park band members and fans alike.

“I know this is probably going to end up on YouTube so I want to do it right, and I want to do it respectfully," a self-aware Martin said, after a false start according to The Guardian. He then dedicated the song to, "everybody who misses someone you know. This is for our whole community of musicians.”

"Thank you Coldplay," Linkin Park rapper Mike Shinoda wrote on Instagram. "It sounded wonderful."

Bennington, lead singer of Linkin Park, died by suicide on July 20, and since then, tributes to the singer have been pouring out from artists across genres in the music industry.
