Costa Rica's president swallowed a wasp during an interview which was totally cool, no big deal whatsoever

He swallowed a bug.

The president played it off rather gracefully. After saying, “I ate it, I ate a wasp,” he joked about how it tasted like "pure protein," and even suggested a video of the ordeal be sent to CNN. His response video went viral over the weekend, amassing more than 233,000 views.
