Starry-eyed courtside fan hoists up a three, brutally airballs it

The stats of Friday's game between the Dallas Mavericks and Detroit Pistons will require an addendum: devastating airball from random dude sitting courtside. 

The poor guy saw an opportunity to become a superstar and took it. However, maybe he should've taken just a couple more seconds to square up and aim, because airballs don't come much worse than this. 

You've got to hand it to him, though -- he went for it.
