Dads find doppelgängers in airport and become fast dad friends

Or the correct term, "Dadpelgangers."

Your standard-issue dad may have minor differences from other dads, but not many. Dads tend to homogenize into puns, barbecue and cargo shorts.

But still, finding your paternal doppelganger is rare. Reddit user notevenbro posted this photo to the popular r/pics with the caption, "My dad bumped into his Dadppelgänger at the airport in Newark."

The picture does indeed include two dads with matching shirts, pants and hairlines, with similar glasses and belts to boot.

Most commenters brought up the natural connection between dads and Costco superstores, which, like many stores that attract discerning dads, sell plaid shirts and khakis.

The post introducing the word "Dadppelgänger" into the internet's lexicon, and that should delight many a dad.
