Parenting 101: Trolling your kids is the best way to get them to do something.

Imagine you're a young Cavs fan, eager to watch LeBron James dominate in person. You turn on the TV to watch the game and you see... this.

Poor Thomas. His dad printed the sign with a sad emoji and everything.

The Cleveland Cavaliers ended up beating the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night 112-105, which surely would have pleased young Thomas. Hopefully, this will inspire him to hit the books and get those grades up.

Overall, the internet is pretty sure this guy is dad of the year.

You better not be reading this, Thomas. Get back to studying.
