Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle surprised New Orleans fans with spontaneous stand-up set
In just three short months, 2017 sure seems like it's becoming a golden age for comedians.
From Netflix streaming stand-up specials to comedy clubs being grace with the presence of comedy legends, there's a lot to make fun of this year.
Another example happened this weekend in the Big Easy. Fans attending a performance of Chris Rock's "The Total Blackout Tour” in New Orleans were treated to sets by Jeff Ross, Eric Andre and the legend himself, Dave Chappelle.
Chappelle encouraged Rock to take the stage with him for what he called a "social experiment." The two comedians then spent 90 minutes trading jokes back and forth to the delight of their fans. After the show, Twitter exploded as people praised the spontaneous special as something of a comedy masterpiece.

Rock shared pictures of him and Chappelle on Instagram with the caption "Watch the throne part 2."
What a time to be alive.
