'Deadbeat' star Tyler Labine tweets Hulu series is officially canceled
Hulu's supernatural comedy Deadbeat is officially dead.
The show -- which ran a total of three seasons and 36 episodes -- follows Kevin Pacalioglu, a.k.a. "Pac" (star Tyler Labine) as he helps ghosts "settle their unfinished business" in New York.
Labine announced news of the cancelation on Twitter in response to a fan's question on Friday.

The series, produced by Lionsgate Television Group, was created by Cody Heller and Brett Konner. It was executive produced by Heller, Konner and showrunner, Dan Lagana.
Its third season, which co-starred Kal Penn, debuted on April 20 (also known as 4/20 day).
Penn also found out the news on Twitter, replying to Labine's tweet with a joke and some snark.
A Hulu spokesperson for the streaming service confirmed the news to Mashable on Sunday evening.
“We love working with [series creators] Brett [Konner], Cody [Heller] and the entire cast and crew of Deadbeat,” the rep said in a statement. “But right now there are no plans to produce more episodes.”
The show was among Hulu's slate of comedy originals, including The Mindy Project and Casual.
