After daring to read internet comments on Tuesday responding to her critique of fan art and the body types of a certain squad, Lovato took to Twitter and announced an upcoming break from music and the spotlight.

With less than 140 characters and a truly shocking use of the wave emoji, Lovato bid goodbye to the haters, if only temporarily. She could also be tired from a year full of touring, but the fatigue over online backlash and excerpts from her Glamour interview likely didn't help.
