Adventurous dog decides to compete in ski race without anyone asking it to join
Sometimes, you get so excited by a sporting event that you have to jump up and participate yourself. At least, you do if you are a dog.
In this instance, the sport is perhaps one of the most physically grueling. On Sunday, skiers from around the world competed in the World Cup cross-country skiing race in Quebec City. And they also got treated to a surprise canine fan/visitor/competitor.

"And they are being chased by a dog out there," one of the commentators announced when the dog bounded happily onto the snowy course. "Unbelievable!"
"I just want to confirm this is not a mascot," another commentator stated.

Fortunately, the dog didn't seem to have much of an effect on the race and no one was injured from the unexpected entrant. What we're left with is the undeniable fact that dogs are simply the best.
