Classy dog in a bowtie sitting on a Delta flight becomes Twitter's darling

Doggo even dressed up for it.

There's the window seat, the aisle seat, and then the seat next to a dapper doggo. Which would you prefer?

Twitter user Mark Halperin found himself in the company of a bowtie-wearing dog when he boarded his Delta flight on Friday. While a very cute and good dog, Halperin posted the photo to draw attention to the fact that Delta had not seated the service dog next to its owner on the long flight. He even captioned it with an irritable "Seriously, @Delta??!?"

Twitter's first reaction to Halperin's initial tweet was confusion, because who wouldn't want to be seated next to this handsome fluffy passenger on a flight?

However, Halperin explained later that his irked tone was not due to the fact that he was seated next to the dog, but was from the fact that Delta had seated this service dog away from his owner.

Halperin stated that he was seated on the plane very late, and didn't realize the situation until right before take off. Once he did realize that the dog and its owner were separated, he attempted to offer to switch, but it was too late.

Halperin expressed surprise that Delta had not sought to accommodate the service dog and its owner sooner prior to boarding.

While we're sad that this tricky situation occurred, we are glad that this good dog exists and is making the world a brighter place, bowtie and all.
