It was always likely to happen.

There are some celebrities on Twitter who bash Trump so frequently that it's a wonder he hasn't got into a feud with them yet.

Chrissy Teigen is, undoubtedly, one of them. She regularly takes shots at the president, and for a while she was even blocked by him.

Well, on Sunday night, the feud that seems to have been years in the making finally happened.

It all started earlier in the evening, when Grammy winner and Teigen's husband John Legend flagged an NBC Town Hall on criminal justice reform in which he'd be making an appearance.

From the looks of it, Donald Trump was one of the people who tuned in.

And judging by the mini Twitter storm he went off on, he wasn't exactly a fan of the discussion, or those leading it.

"Boring musician John Legend and his filthy mouthed wife."

If you thought Chrissy Teigen was going to let that one slide, you'd be wrong. An hour later, she hit back with this fairly uncompromising riposte.

She didn't stop there, either.

Soon, we even had a new hashtag.

It wasn't long before John Legend was involved, too.

Doesn't look like that phrase will be stopping anytime soon.

No response from Trump yet, but it looks like he's going to wake up to even more notifications than usual...
