Who are the 41 lucky people Trump follows on Twitter?

We know Donald Trump tweets a lot. Pretty much constantly (he's at 34,000 tweets and counting). About everything. But what does Twitter look like from within the @realDonaldTrump account?

Trump should be too busy picking his future Cabinet members to have time to be mindlessly scrolling through his Twitter feed. But if he were, he wouldn't be pulling from too many sources since Trump's official account only follows 41 people.

Looking at presidents before Trump, Barack Obama follows hundreds of thousands after eight years in office. Bill Clinton only follows 26. George W. Bush hasn't been on Twitter since 2010. But his dad George H.W. Bush is more active, however he only has a selective 19 follows.

Family

If someone is related to Trump (or their last name is Trump), President-elect Trump is going to be following. He follows seven members of his brood, including his third and current wife, Melania, and his adult children Ivanka, Trump Jr., Tiffany and Eric and some of their spouses. Interestingly, Jared Kushner, Ivanka's husband, isn't on this list. Kushner also has never tweeted, but he does have an account.

Anything with 'Trump' in the title

If you can stay in it or give money to it, Trump's all over it.

Trump Organization, Trump Golf, Trump Waikiki, Trump National Doral, Trump Charlotte, Trump Vegas Hotel, Trump Hotel Chicago, Trump Washington, D.C., and Trump Los Angeles make up a large chunk of his following list.

The media

Trump is no fan of the mainstream media and makes that clear. But if his follows are any indication, he has a soft spot for certain TV hosts and media outlets, namely Fox News. Members of the media make up the biggest chunk of his follows. But Trump has plenty of inconsistencies with his selection of media personalities. The lengthy list includes MSNBC TV hosts Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough, Fox hosts Bill O'Reilly, Greta Van Susteren and, of course Trump's favorite from Fox, host Sean Hannity.

Mark Burnett makes the list, presumably from Trump's "The Apprentice" days. And don't forget about pro wrestler Vince McMahon, CEO of the WWE.

Politicians (but only those connected to the Trump campaign)

You won't find Trump following any policy groups, political organizations or anything remotely related to the White House, or even the Republican National Committee.

But don't worry, Trump didn't forget about his running mate Mike Pence.

UPDATE Feb. 14, 2017, 5:30 p.m. PT: The Trump Twitter universe shifted slightly when the president followed a new person, although she isn't new to his inner circle. Now his adviser Kellyanne Conway has an even more direct line to the commander-in-chief on his favorite platform. The follow comes after a social media campaign to give her the honor. Trump's chief of staff Reince Preibus, was also added to the exclusive follow list some point after the end of last year. That makes for a lucky 43 follows.
