Dunkin' Donuts tests 'Donut Fries,' but you'll have to fly to Boston to get them
Fast food was put on this earth to fulfill our unhealthiest culinary desires. Sometimes this means sandwiching a waffle between two fried chicken patties. Sometimes this means dyeing a burger bun black.
Sometimes this means Donut Fries, a buzzy item off the new Dunkin' Donuts snack menu. But before you speed to nearest DD, know that these doughy fries are available in Massachusetts only, per Boston.com.
A representative for Dunkin' tells Mashable that the coffee chain is, indeed, testing a $2 snack menu in select Boston-area locations. The full menu rundown, via the Dunkin' rep:
Pretzel Bites with Honey Mustard Sauce
Waffle Breaded Chicken Tenders
Ham & Cheese Roll-ups
Munchkin Dippers
Gluten-free Brownie
Donut Fries

As Boston.com reports, the menu test coincides with the chain's efforts to offer cheap breakfast options. On Monday, Dunkin' announced the launch of "Dunkin’ Go2s, the brand’s new national value menu," featuring egg sandwiches and wraps.
While we love eggs of all kind, we're hoping Dunkin' will give the rest of the U.S. what it really wants: A taste of those Donut Fries.
Alas, the current test is just that: a test. With no guarantee that Donut Fries will ever go national, perhaps you should consider a road trip to Boston.
