Woody Allen's adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow decided to share her full story on CBS This Morning on Thursday in an interview with Gayle King. Farrow shared details of her alleged sexual assault by Allen back in 1992.

Allen has always denied the allegations and insisted that Dylan was manipulated and coached by her mother Mia Farrow during the couple's acrimonious divorce.

Farrow told Gayle King that she was taken to the attic by Allen, then allegedly assaulted while playing with her brother's toy train (upon Allen's instruction).

"As a 7-year-old I would say, I would have said he touched my private parts," she said. "...As a 32-year-old, he touched my labia and my vulva with his finger."

Farrow went on to say that Allen was always "following" and "touching" her – that he wasn't the same with her sibling Ronan – and would ask her to get into bed with him when he or she was wearing only underwear.

The Yale-New Haven Hospital and New York State Child Welfare ruled that there had been no sexual assault, while the prosecutor on Allen's case found probably cause to press charges and ultimately chose not to for Dylan's mental health.

"I do wish that they had [pressed charges]," Farrow said. "I was already traumatized...I mean, outside of a court of law, we do know what happened in the attic on that day. I just told you."

In a clip shared from an old 60 Minutes interview, Allen defended himself right after the allegations surfaced.

"Isn't it illogical that I'm going to, at the height of a very bitter acrimonious custody fight, drive up to Connecticut...that I'm going to drive up there and suddenly on visitation, pick this moment in my life to become a child molester?" he said in 1992. "It's just, it's just incredible. I could if I wanted to be a child molester, I had many opportunities in the past."

Allen issued a full statement to CBS saying that Farrow's accusations were thoroughly investigated 25 years ago, and stuck to his story that "a vulnerable child had been coached to tell the story by her angry mother during a contentious breakup."

But even though the Farrow family is cynically using the opportunity afforded by the Time's Up movement to repeat this discredited allegation, that doesn't make it any more true today than it was in the past. I never molested my daughter – as all investigations concluded a quarter of a century ago.

Farrow has advocated for the women's movement in Hollywood, and over the past several months has grown more vocal about her accusations against Allen and his perceived immunity in the current reckoning. Allen's former colleagues have begun to express their regret for working with him and expressed support and sympathy for Dylan.
