This Mark Zuckerberg interview from 2005 features no hoodie, but a whole lot of beer

The interview features a video of a Zuckerberg interview during the very early days of Facebook back when it was called TheFacebook.com and the company kept a keg in its very casual office.

Facebook's recent F8 conference provided a window into how the company plans to dominate the future.

An old interview of Mark Zuckerberg that has resurfaced provides a glimpse of its past.

The video features Zuckerberg during the very early days of Facebook, back when it was called TheFacebook.com and the company kept a keg in its very casual office.

Zuckerberg gave the interview on a couch just below a poster for "Scarface" and while holding a red Solo cup.

"Should I put the beer down?" Zuckerberg asks at the very beginning of the video.

Aside from just being a fun look back at the early days of Zuckerberg, it's notable to hear how he thought about the site during its early days.

He refers to Facebook as a "college directory" that has "a lot of different individual communities."

Zuckerberg continued to talk about the growth of the site from beyond Harvard to hundreds of campuses and to other countries.

Then, someone does a keg stand.

It's well worth listening to the whole interview and seeing the old Facebook office, complete with plenty of graffiti.

Toward the end, Zuckerberg noted that he wasn't necessarily focused on becoming the world's biggest company.

"There doesn't necessarily have to be more, you know?" Zuckerberg asked. "A lot of people are focused on taking over the world, or doing the biggest thing, getting the most users. I think part of making a difference and doing something cool is focusing intensely."

Zuckerberg might say Facebook is still focused intensely, just now on a much bigger goal -- connecting the entire world.
