Netflix to the rescue, yet again. According to Vulture, the streaming service has picked up Maniac, a half-hour dark comedy that stars onetime Superbad costars Jonah Hill and Emma Stone and will be helmed by Beasts of No Nation's Cary Fukunaga.

Maniac, based on a Norwegian TV series, follows Hill's character as he flits between his own fantasies and his life in a mental institution, where Stone is another patient. Both actors will executive produce the project with Fukunaga, who received critical acclaim for Beasts of No Nation and an Emmy for directing Season 1 of True Detective.
