HBO dropped a new Game of Thrones trailer at Comic-Con, and it's hotter than Dragonfire.

It's almost time for Daenerys Targaryen and her long-lost nephew Jon Snow to meet, and the promo footage brings the duo closer than ever before -- with Melisandre channeling her inner Obi-Wan Kenobi and telling Dany, "I believe you have a role to play... as does another."

Oh yeah, did we mention that Melisandre and Daenerys meet up in the new footage? Verklempt!

And Melisandre's presence on Dragonstone, which was teased in the first trailer for the season, leaves open the possibility for all sorts of intriguing interactions with the rest of Team Dany -- we see her alongside Varys, who generally isn't too kindly disposed towards the Red Priestesses after his chilling encounter with Kinvara in Season 6.

Elsewhere, Euron is continuing his quest to impress Cersei -- but she's pretty busy making out with Jaime... for now.

Meanwhile, Jon is rallying his troops -- noting that they can't defeat the Night's King army with simple weapons, and seemingly seeing the value of enlisting Dany as an ally, as he points out, "Daenerys has Dragonfire."

Littlefinger, on the other hand, seems to be positing the existence of the multiverse? In voiceover, he tells Sansa, "Everyone is your enemy. Everyone is your friend. Every possible series of events is happening all at once."

Deep, man. I hear that time is a flat circle, too.

Game of Thrones airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on HBO, and we'll be speculating wildly until then.
