'Game of Thrones' fan's theory about Daenerys and Melisandre is on point

Makes a lot of sense.

It's always entertaining when long-standing Game of Thrones characters meet each other for the first time.

There's already been some of that this Season with Melisandre meeting Daenerys, and now with Jon Snow and Davos riding out to Dragonstone there's about to be a whole lot more.

The big question, of course, is will they all get along with each other?

Well, this being Game of Thrones, the answer is probably not.

On Reddit, one fan recently made a prediction about what might happen when Davos discovers that Melisandre has already been to see Daenerys:

3.5K upvotes later, and it looked like Reddit agreed.

It's way back in Season 1 now, but Daenerys did indeed lose a child to black magic -- when she asked Mirri Maz Durr to help her try and keep Khal Drogo alive.

And if Davos does tell her what Melisandre did to Shireen, Daenerys could well react unpredictably.

This would make a lot of sense, wouldn't it?

We know from the latest batch of official photos that all those characters will be meeting on Sunday. Judging from last week's episode Daenerys now has a taste for the idea of burning people, so it wouldn't be a huge leap to predict that Melisandre might maybe -- just maybe -- be her first test subject.

It would certainly be an ironic way for the Red Priestess to go, anyway.
