Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams may have accidentally spilled the beans on when the series will be returning for its eighth season in 2019.

Williams said that the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere will air in April 2019, the series star shared in an interview with Metro Friday.

"We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April [2019]," the Arya Stark actor told Metro. "That’s a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes. There’s a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all. We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities."

HBO has already confirmed that the series is returning for its eighth season in 2019, but HBO would not confirm the April airdate.

An April premiere doesn't seem unlikely though. Almost every previous season of Game of Thrones premiered in April or late March except the seventh season, which premiered in July.

While Williams may be a bit more in the loop than most people on Earth, she may not actually know the exact month the show is returning. April may just be the month the Game of Thrones crew is shooting for, but that may not be set in stone yet.

Williams's representative did not respond to our request for confirmation.
