Disclaimer: Spoilers ahead from season 3 of Game of Thrones, which was three seasons ago, so you really should be caught up by now.

It's been almost three years since Game of Thrones  fans were forever traumatized by the events in Season 3's "The Rains of Castamere" (known more lovingly as "The Red Wedding").

It is proof that time does not heal all wounds. #RIPEveryone.

Apparently, no one was more upset by the events from the episode than GoT writer Bryan Cogman. Cogman, who has been live-tweeting his favorite episodes from the series, took to Twitter Monday night to cope with the pains of working on the brutal, plot-twisting ninth episode of season 3.

He shared behind-the-scenes secrets (check out his Twitter for several more gems) but also his gut reactions to hearing those haunting words, "The Lannisters send their regards."

Relive all the pain and vengeance, before embarking on season 6 on April 24.
