The first 'Ghostbusters' reboot trailer is finally here, and it's glorious
Well, we finally know who to call.
We already had a good feeling after the mountain of promo images, but this first trailer for director Paul Feig's reboot of Ghostbusters is pure excitement. It's light on story and heavy on CG-enhanced shenanigans, which is exactly what how it needed to be.

The film's foursome of female stars -- Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones -- get up to all sorts of trouble as they face down spooks in a haunted New York City. More importantly, they look like the real deal.
Between the proton packs, the Ecto-1 -- which swaps out the old-timey ambulance for an old-timey hearse -- and the ghosts (watch for Slimer), there's a lot here for longtime fans to adore. But it's also clear that the new stars will put their own stamp on things as well.
Ghostbusters slimes up theaters on July 15.
