Others, like 83-year-old Ben Bennett, like to find creative new ways to pay tribute to the Royal Family.

Bennett found the two statues pictured above, which are 12 foot tall, made of terracotta and feature green plastic for hair, at a house clearance a few years back.

After a bit of careful pruning, Bennett got them ready for display in his front garden -- just in time to celebrate the Queen's upcoming 90th birthday.

"We've been flooded with visitors coming to see them," Bennett was reported as saying in The Daily Telegraph.

"When children have their picture taken with them, the funny thing is the children always stand to attention.

"They've given joy to hundreds and hundreds of people."
