Gilmore Girls fans were recently delighted to see that two of their favorite residents of Stars Hallow, Michel (Yanic Truesdale) and Sookie (Melissa McCarthy), were hanging out. Truesdale posted a selfie of the two to Instagram on Sunday, saying he was just catching up with an "old friend."

Of course, after seeing the pictures, fans of the show began wildly speculating that McCarthy, who has said that she's definitely not returning for the Netflix revival of the hit show, had suddenly signed on to reprise her role as Lorelei's best friend and inn chef.
Truesdale attempted to squash the rumors before they began, begging fans not to "read anything into" the picture. Oy with the poodles already!
The actor, who played the concierge at the Dragonfly, is giving sneak peeks into the revival, sharing selfies with several of his old co-stars.
