LONDON -- The holidays can be a wonderful time of year -- filled with laughter, friends and family.

And booze.

Lots and lots of booze.

Here to help the merriment along are festive gin-filled Christmas tree baubles, because somehow alcohol is always better in novelty packaging.

Edinburgh-based distillery Pickering's Gin hand crafts the bright baubles, which each hold 50ml of gin.

For £30.00 ($37.55) you get six of the differently coloured plastic baubles; however, they're currently sold out online. The product has been so popular that the makers have had to release them in stages to match demand.

In the first year of the baubles' commercial existence, the company made just 400. This season, already over 30,000 of the baubles have been produced, and beginning in January 2017 Pickering's has plans to begin crafting a whopping 300,000 for the next holiday season.

Mashable spoke to a representative, who advised interested buyers to sign up to the company's mailing list. "Ginfriends" will receive an email when the next batch of baubles becomes available for pre-order, expected to be announced in early December.

Pickering's notes on its website, "please don’t leave them where children or animals can reach them, whether on your Christmas tree or elsewhere."

Please decorate responsibly, folks.
