"Last year we lost so many legends and icons, but a few weeks ago we lost a mother and daughter within a couple of days," host Jimmy Fallon said at the 74th Golden Globe Awards.
Aside from the usual "In Memoriam" segment, the Golden Globes aired a separate tribute to the mother-daughter duo of Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher, who passed away on Dec. 27 and Dec. 28 of 2016.
