LOS ANGELES -- There seems to be some consensus that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was not such a great movie. But ogling all that spectacular marketing was fun while it lasted, right?

The 29%-on-Rotten-Tomatoes superhero clash was nominated for four Golden Trailer Awards, including Best Action (for "Gladiator Match," above), Best Teaser TV Spot, Most Innovative Advertising for a Brand/Product and Most Original Poster.

The 17th annual competition announced all its nominees Friday, and perhaps the biggest surprise is the nomination that Batman v Superman did not get: the Golden Fleece, which is awarded to the best trailer for the film whose marketing was considered better than the movie itself.

Those five nominations went, understandably, to Gods Of EgyptHitman Agent 47PixelsPride and Prejudice and Zombies and The Last Witch Hunter.

The Golden Trailer Awards will be handed out May 4 in Beverly Hills. Nominees whose trailer-shaped trophies will be handed out at the show include:
