If year round, you are the squad's prankster, April Fools' Day is the one day to get 'em good -- by doing nice stuff for your friends and family. 

After all, isn't pranking it forward the greatest gift there is? (No. But in spirit of the day, humor us.)

Check out these feel-good pranks -- you'd be a fool not to try one on Friday. 

1. Leave a waitress an extra-generous tip.

2. Send pizza to all your neighbors. Tell the restaurant to write "April Fools" in pepperoni on the pie.

3. Decorate your co-worker's desk with candy and smiley face Post-It notes.

4. Reverse pickpocket by stealing a wallet, putting money in it and returning it. (Don't get arrested for stealing though.)

5. Stick a note on someone's back that says "Compliment me." Bonus points for also including your own compliment.

6. Give someone an avocado. You can never receive too many avocados.

7. Pay off your parent's mortgage. (If you can't afford it, give them Monopoly money but also a hug, because they are your parents, damn it.)

8. Pay for the person behind you in line at Starbucks. Tell the barista to write "April Fools" on their coffee cup.

9. Set an autocorrect in your significant other's phone that changes "Hey" to "[Your name] loves you.]
