LONDON -- When the words "Hannah Miley" began trending on Twitter over the weekend, the vast majority of Americans seemed to have the exact same thought: why, years after finishing, is Hannah Montana suddenly popping back up again? And surely Miley Cyrus isn't considering some sort of reboot?

The thing was, it was absolutely nothing to do with Hannah Montana at all. It was, in fact, all about a British Olympic swimmer who happens to be named Hannah Miley.

Hannah Miley competed in the 400 metre individual medley final over the weekend, and just missed out on the bronze medal by 0.15 of a second.

Meanwhile on Twitter, confusion was reigning.

And when people realised, everyone started making the same jokes.

Hannah Miley will also be competing in the women's 200 metre individual medley on Monday afternoon, so we can probably expect more of the same confusion then.
