Tons of people are clearly falling in love with Scorpius Malfoy.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two, the script of the play currently onstage in London, sold over 2 million copies in two days, Scholastic announced Wednesday.

That number is unprecedented for a script, and although it falls unsurprisingly short of the 8.3 million copies Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows sold in 2007 during its first 24 hours, it's still on track to be the bestselling book of the year. The book is currently atop the charts at Barnes & Noble and Amazon. Pre-order numbers broke records as well.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two, written by J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany, and Jack Thorne, has received mostly positive reviews from critics. Mashable said that, "...Cursed Child itself feels fresh. It is trying something new for the series, something risky, something that should speak in a very real way to both old and young readers -- and that's a great thing for the final book in a fantasy series."

Scholastic notes that to date the first seven Harry Potter books have sold over 450 million copies worldwide and are distributed in more than 200 territories and translated into 79 languages.
