Building ships, playing with Legos ... same thing, Science Channel series says
The Science Channel wants to show you how to build everything.
Well, at least they're going to try.
On How to Build ... Everything, scientists, experts and other generally smart humans break down the "step-by-step processes behind some of the world's most complex apparatuses" -- from Apache helicopters to hovercrafts -- in "a way that armchair engineers and curious minds can follow," according to the network.

The result is a sort of tongue-in-cheek instruction manual, should you desire to, I dunno, build a ship one weekend.
Speaking of ships, the first episode will show how engineering, clever use of materials, good planning result in these floating wonders of the sea.

The series debuts June 22 on the Science Channel, but it will also be made available ahead of its linear debut on June 18 via the network's Facebook and YouTube channel, in addition to the Science Channel website, Discovery GO.
